Neither am I, but since I just upgraded to General a month ago, there's all the warm and fuzzies still about the new privileges. So, I near doubled the number of lines in my log since yesterday. Plus got to add the Marshall Islands...

Visited a FD site out in dog valley yesterday. Good stuff but the bands were quiet daytime. Then later back home after dark and holy wow! 40m was booming. We logged tx, Alabama, Ohio and Florida with out even trying. It was shoulder to shoulder across the band.

With the 1D Variance, everyone was on yesterday and stepping on top of each other like it was their right. It got entertaining a couple of times trying to keep different contacts on the same freq separate. For about two hours effort, Final Score: 81 (31 High Power SSB Contacts, and a bonus 50 points for submitting online)
