I was driving around town Sunday afternoon, and could not figure out why people kept staring at my car and smiling. I thought at first it was my choice of music, but I stopped at winners corner and saw this on the passenger side of my car...somebody punked me - good. So I got home and snapped this pic because I was laughing my @ss off. Now I just got to figure out which buddy did it so I can return the favor.

167k miles on it and it still takes abuse like a Timex. Going to see if I can get it to 250k. Bought it last year for 5,600. Was forest fugly green. Tinted it, repainted, and blessed it with a stereo that is ghetto-fabulous.

Much better deal than the 626 I bought about seven years ago for four times the price :scratchhe

I have a realtime spectrum/db Measurement tool on my laptop for tuning car audio systems and of course the SPL measurement. Is 135db ok> LOL
BTW the Grand Cherokee does 138db.... :woot2:

Very nice car. I will always love the E36's, the E46's are ok, and the new E90 looks like it has saturn doors on it. What happened to BMW? Have you considered the M3 side molding? I would think it would look great with the black on white contrast and match the front and rear perfectly.

Have you explored MB Quart, Dyna Audio, or Speaker Works Wave Guides?
Those are the top tier for mids & highs in the competition realm.

As for the M3 side moldings, I really need a M3 motor to get it started.
Been checking on ebay for them, and have seen some good deals.

A set of M3 cams will run 1,200 and a supercharger will be 4,200 and some change. At that point I will be looking for some V-10 and V-12's to sneak up on.

For the price of these polks I was by FAR impressed compared to the POS "Labled quality" infinity stuff as well as some other brands. Not to mention Since I already own the pair it will cost me nothing? hehe, more interested in getting it to run well first. In the future I want to get a S7L15 ported, along with amp and capacitor, then some mb quarts tweeters for the apillas.

Then I would have overall the pair of 6x9's, pair of 6 1/2 front door, tweets, 2 10's, 1 15, 3 amps, and lets see, a clarion VRX935vd

Just go Best Buy and Pick up an Alpine amp, much less distortion than the Clairion. About 199-399 for the nice v-12 series.
