There is a stretched YJ in JP this month. He did something similar without a comp, he cut the rear tub line upas far as possible, then re-radiused the arch. I think some blank corners and new arches would do the trick.

I only moved the axle back 5" or so, but it would give you an idea. I didn't like the look of comp cut on mine, so I bough Savvy Offroad blanks and cut my openings.

lol, I never knew this was your rig from FB. I thought you found it online.
I would have loved to see you test the arms out just for fun.
Too bad it would have jacked your rig up something fierce when they all gave way.

found some time to do some work today .. welded up the brackets and made some bumpstop /coil isolators.

whats the plan with the bottom spring mount? Could weld a small piece of tubing with a cap on it to keep the spring centered. Then a spring clamp to keep it held down.

Thats what i did on the rover.

looks good though, i need to come check it out soon.

ya that is the plan I have some 2" tube that I will weld to the plate that will clam down on the spring.

You might soon, I need some help welding the brackets to the frame then some sushi :D

haha, ok. Things are pretty crazy right now with work. Text me and we'll figure something out
