Laws for doors-off Wrangler

I've never had a problem with top and doors off but I'm going to CA tomorrow and I don't want a Komifornia level citation. I hear those are pretty bad. Anyone know the facts on this?
Thanks.

Think as long as you have mirrors, you're good. They don't pin and weld the hinges for Jeep sales in CA.

Under the California Vehicle Code, every vehicle registered in the state (except for motorcycles) is required to have at least two rearview mirrors. One of these mirrors must be on the vehicle's left-hand side (driver's side)
