Progress today. Chased all the threads on the knuckle studs, replaced the axle U-joints, greased the spindle bearings and mounted them up. Still need to extract a couple broken bolts and then the outers and calipers go on.
So. Doing a little reading and learned, the 86 E150 came with a Ford 9” with a 69.25” WMS. The 79 Bronco 44 has a 67” WMS. I happen to have a set of 2” wheel spacers that fit. That leaves the front 1.75” wider than the rear. Pretty ideal.
