Check this axle out. Doesn't look like they have a steering axle though.

Does it have stub axles & u-joints inside so it can make that transition from the wheel up to the third member? :rolleyes: Never mind,I just looked closer at the picture & I can see the inspection covers that bolt over where the u-joints are! :D

I dunno if there's a big market for these. Whoever wants that much clearance can find a set of MOGs for less than this one rearend would cost. But, I guess, some people have lots of money to blow... :disagree:

here's a CAD of the steering axle. axle housing itself is supposed to cost about $1200.

read the post? $1200 for housing alone, add steering knuckles (inners and outers), 3rd members, axle shafts, brakes...

That first pic looks like it must be the new "Alumiflex axle"....

At least thats what came to mind when I first saw it. :)

Here is the portal-tek axle, even has square tubes for the rockwell fans. Plus they only cost $8500...
