Yes but double that torque input of a 203. Theoretical is great but I'm going to do the math. And talk to my guy that makes shafts.

Well your typical v8 puts out two to three times the torque a 22re puts out. And that's before the v8 is warmed over with power adders. I think it would be fine. The Toy case would be the weak link instead of the 205. I've seen dual sm465 transmissions hooked up in front of a 205 and they seem to hold up fine to 13 to 1 low range with the second transmission in compound low and the tcase in low range. Let alone if you had both transmissions in compound low it would be something dumb like 84.5 to 1 low range. But when you do that kind of gearing you start ripping out motor mounts and the like.

Ok to clarify my thoughts I'm not concerned with the strength of the 205 I'm concerned with the strength of a 23 to 32 spline spud shaft.
