Florian "Venom" Kohler is the reigning world champion billiard trickshot artist. He also holds the world record for jumping a cue-ball. I was privileged to have him and his lovely assistant / fiance over for a studio shoot before his local show.

Search YouTube for "Venom Trickshots." He's worth watching.

I made a lot of money in college performing billiard trick shots and hustling at the tables. And I know of Venom skill. However I have always been a fan of Mike Massey & Jeanette Lee

I can't say that I've ever made money at pool. That is, besides a few local tournaments and having some pictures published in Billiards Digest. I have never really appreciated trick shots too much. It seemed to me that most of them were more setup than skill. Florian blew me away with how much control he has over the cue ball. One of the shots he performed for pictures was jumping a cue ball into another ball that his assistant tossed up. Kind of like billiard-skeet shooting. Now that I've worked with him, I can tell you that those impressive videos on YouTube aren't the result of several attempts edited in the video. He really can do that stuff real-time. Mostly with a single attempt.
